We have only a few short weeks before the nominees are decided for the Emmys this year. We need to burn down Twitter with our support! Here’s how you can help -

1. Tweet #EatTheEmmys and shoutout @primetimeemmys

TWEET #EatTheEmmys this week, Thursday 10PM-12PM EST

INCLUDE @primetimeemmys in your tweets, along with any praise for the show. This is the official Emmys Twitter account so please keep it clean and civil. We want to draw them in, not scare them off ;)

Everyone who wants to talk about how men are more relatable and well-sold protagonists can explain to me how they’re game-uneducated assholes who have never played Metroid, Final Fantasy XIII, Jet Force Gemini OR GOD HELP ME IF I HAVE TO PREACH THIS RESIDENT EVIL 1 OR 3. There SHOULD be more female protagonists. And if we can explain why they ‘don’t sell as well’ I’d love to know why the Resident Evil franchise is so big, why Metroid is still one of Nintendo’s most beloved titles AND why Final Fantasy XIII is the only one with actual sequels (X-2 doesn’t count as it wasn’t really good nor was it well-received).
